Fraser competed in his first race in round 1 of Clay Pigeon Kart Club’s 2016 Club Championship

“Yesterday was round 1 of Clay Pigeon Kart Clubs 2016 Club Championship. Jedracing were up there with Fraser Denoon who was out for his first ever race in an MSA Championship.

Having spent all of Saturday testing, we brought the times down considerably throughout the day and this showed on Sunday.

The day started exceptionally well with us arriving to glorious sunshine, which if anyone is familiar with Clay Pigeon Kart Club, this has never happened before!

We headed out onto the track for practice, but with no other Novices to battle and with the rest of the field comprising of experienced club regulars, our racing took place with a less experienced racer. Fraser battled hard all day and was determined to improve his lap times to stay with the pack. Fraser managed to finish 5th in the final which was a great achievement.

He was rewarded for his efforts in the trophy presentation where he received a Best Junior Novice trophy.

Overall it was a great day and a big learning curve for Fraser, his pace is coming on strong and we can’t wait for round 2 next month.”
